I hired Sloane Law Firm to defend me against a marijuana charge. They gave me the option of a flat fee. It was explained to me that my cost would be fixed regardless of whether it took one court appearance or ten. I agreed to this as a means of limiting my legal costs. If you want a lawyer to fight for you and not do the bare minimum, then Sloane Law Firm is the one to contact. I went from having a state jail felony and a Class B misdemeanor to just a Class C misdemeanor with no felony. They also got it set up so that my record is sealed.
